What is Soul Centered Psychotherapy?

Healing is a Journey of Remembering

Do you find yourself feeling disconnected? Exhausted by the roles you’ve been playing? Confused by a rapidly changing and chaotic world? Questioning the life you’ve built? Or sensing something deeper is calling for your attention?

These are not signs of failure or brokenness, they are invitations.

Invitations to pause.

To listen.

To reconnect with parts of yourself that have been buried beneath years of expectations, responsibilities, trauma, protection, or adaptation.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing is not about fixing what is wrong with you. It is about creating the conditions for you to reconnect with what is already wise, whole, and authentic within you.

Therapy becomes a process of remembering who you are beneath the survival strategies, protective patterns, and conditioned identities that may no longer serve you.

A Soulful Approach to Transformation

Many clients come to therapy seeking relief from anxiety, burnout, depression, relationship difficulties, or chronic stress. While symptom reduction is important, my work explores a deeper question:

What is this experience trying to reveal?

Burnout may signal a life out of alignment with your values. Emotional fragmentation may reflect parts of yourself that have been neglected or silenced. Relationship struggles may illuminate wounds that are seeking healing. Spiritual awakening experiences may be invitations for a new understanding of identity, purpose, and meaning.

Rather than viewing these experiences solely as problems to eliminate, we approach them as opportunities for growth, self-discovery, and transformation.

This perspective does not minimize suffering. Instead, it honors the possibility that challenge, loss, transition, and uncertainty can become powerful catalysts for healing when approached with curiosity, compassion, and support.

An Integrative Clinical Framework

My practice is grounded in evidence-based psychology and depth-oriented approaches to healing, bringing together multiple perspectives to support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Jungian and Transpersonal Psychology

These approaches help us explore dreams, symbols, unconscious patterns, spiritual experiences, and the deeper dimensions of the psyche. Together, they provide a framework for understanding personal transformation, individuation, and the search for meaning and purpose.

Existential-Humanistic Theory

Existential-Humanistic approaches support exploration of authenticity, choice, freedom, responsibility, values, and meaning. This work helps clients reconnect with their inner truth and cultivate lives that feel purposeful, aligned, and deeply fulfilling.

Attachment and Relational Psychodynamic Theory

Our earliest relationships shape how we understand ourselves, others, and the world around us. This perspective helps illuminate recurring relational patterns, emotional wounds, and attachment dynamics while providing a therapeutic relationship rooted in safety, authenticity, and emotional attunement.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS views the psyche as containing different parts, each with its own role, experiences, and protective intentions. Through this lens, we learn to approach ourselves with curiosity and compassion, developing greater self-leadership, internal harmony, and emotional integration.

Trauma-Informed Care

All work is held within a trauma-informed framework that recognizes the adaptive wisdom of survival responses and honors the ways individuals have learned to protect themselves. Healing occurs at a pace that supports safety, regulation, and resilience.

Depth, Archetypal, and Gestalt Approaches

These approaches help bring awareness to recurring life themes, unconscious patterns, present-moment experience, and the symbolic dimensions of healing. Together, they support deeper self-awareness, integration, and connection to the larger story unfolding within your life.

Honoring Both Psychology and Spirituality

Many spiritually sensitive individuals struggle to find spaces where psychological healing and spirituality can be explored together.

In this practice, spiritual experiences are approached with openness, discernment, and clinical integrity. Whether you are experiencing heightened intuition, profound life transitions, synchronicities, anomalous phenomena, shifts in consciousness, existential questioning, or a spiritual awakening, these experiences are welcomed as meaningful aspects of your lived experience.

The therapeutic process provides space to explore these dimensions safely while remaining grounded in ethical, trauma-informed clinical care.

For clients who desire it, some Complementary and Alternative Interventions may be incorporated in our work together, with informed consent, as reflective and meaning-making tools that support the therapeutic process.

What You Can Expect

I view therapy as a collaborative process rather than an expert-driven one.

My role is not to tell you what path you should follow. Rather, it is to walk alongside you as you deepen your understanding of yourself, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and navigate change with greater clarity and confidence.

In our work together, you can expect:

  • A compassionate and nonjudgmental environment

  • Deep respect for your lived experience

  • Exploration of both practical concerns and deeper patterns

  • Support for emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth

  • An approach that honors mind, body, and spirit

  • A commitment to authenticity, curiosity, and meaningful transformation

The Invitation

Healing is not a destination. It is an ongoing relationship with yourself.

It is the process of learning to listen more deeply, live more authentically, and reconnect with the parts of you that desire expression.

If you are ready to move beyond simply managing symptoms and begin exploring what it means to live with greater wholeness, meaning, and purpose, I would be honored to support you on that journey.

About Me

A lifelong seeker of psyche and soul, I have been fascinated with dreams, magic, mythology, and the supernatural since childhood. Discovering the work of Carl Gustav Jung as an adolescent was a pivotal moment, providing a psychological framework that resonated deeply with my emerging spiritual worldview and ultimately shaped both my personal and professional paths.

Throughout my twenties, I immersed myself in extensive spiritual training and practice, studying diverse traditions including Wicca and shamanism. My initiatory path included becoming a Third Degree High Priestess of Wicca as well as receiving multiple shamanic initiations. I spent several years co-facilitating a shamanic vision quest program, leading sweat lodges and wilderness vision quest experiences while supporting others in their journeys of personal transformation and spiritual discovery.

In my thirties, I turned my focus toward formal education in psychology and counseling. During this period, I underwent Jungian psychoanalysis and subsequently served as President of Idaho Friends of Jung, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the life, work, and enduring legacy of C.G. Jung. While pursuing graduate studies, I began a gradual return to my deeper spiritual roots, ultimately experiencing a profound spiritual reawakening in 2019. To further deepen my spiritual practice, I then completed four years of advanced study with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. This transformative period compelled me to embrace a calling to integrate my conventional training in psychology and counseling with my extensive spiritual background.

Today, my work is inspired by a passion for consciousness studies, depth psychology, spiritual development, anomalous phenomena, astrology, and the exploration of human potential. I am devoted to helping bridge contemporary psychological understanding with ancient wisdom traditions in ways that support healing, meaning-making, and personal growth.

Outside of my professional pursuits, I find joy in gardening, caring for my animals, including cats, goats, and chickens, reading, and spending time with the loved ones who enrich my life..
